SUMMER SKINCARE TIPS TO CLIP |

School is out and summer is
in! It's time for friends, BBQ's, movies- and hot weather! During the hottest
season of the year, less is more including makeup, so it is important to keep
your skin healthy and clear. Here are some helpful tips to keep things simple:
- The
perfect clean: Cleanse your skin
two times a day. No more, no less. Over cleansing can strip your skin and
actually cause breakouts, but cleansing twice a day will ensure that you
have properly removed sweat, dirt, and excess oil.
- Not
enough moisture = lots of oil: Your
skin creates more oil if it doesn't have enough water or moisture. Using a
moisturizer will help protect your skin from dehydrating during the summer
months. Also, keeping up with your daily 6-8 glasses a day of drinking
water will help.
- Sunscreen
in king: Did you know that sun
damage is the number one cause of aging? Most importantly it can cause
cancer, so don't forget the sunscreen! If you know you will be in the sun
for a long period of time use an SPF of 30 or higher, but it is still
important to use an everyday sunscreen no matter where you will be.
